 "take AIM for your success"

What is AIM?

AIM is a not for profit organization, that was created in the 1970’s and fully incorporated in January, 1979 as a Florida Corporation. Its national headquarters is in St. Petersburg, Florida.

AIM was originally formed and operated by visionary Jack Winebrenner, who once stated that AIM was “like having a business owner’s union, with all of our small businesses banding together to gain access to services and benefits normally available only to giant corporations!”

Jack Winebrenner
AIM Founder & Chairman of the Board

Jack’s purpose for AIM was to create an association for smaller business owners, managers, and those who wished to start or manage a business. As he looked around, Jack found there was no resource to help those small businesses which form the backbone of this nation.

Jack’s experiences in the business world prepared him to create AIM. As a professional himself (consultant to small businesses, accountant, owner of an insurance agency, electrical engineer, owner of a professional sports team and league commissioner), he envisioned an association that could help people succeed in business while improving themselves at the same time.

Jack explained that a person who starts a beauty parlor might know a lot about hair and nails but not necessarily how to run a business. Most who start and work in small businesses normally don’t have education in business law, taxes, accounting, payroll, worker’s compensation, and a whole lot more. Most cannot afford to hire people with those skills. There is no “department” for each of these important areas within the small business. Therefore, AIM was created to offer what no other organization had done previously.

Education is a key to any business success. Jack Winebrenner realized the need to educate in order to match what was happening in the business world. As a result, educational courses were created.

Jack’s brother Larry had an extensive background in business and management and helped create the first AIM educational courses. AIM has also added many new benefits and programs to compliment the educational offerings.

Even though much has been added, AIM monthly dues have stayed the same. In fact, they’ve been the same for over 30 years, since AIM began!

Why join AIM?

AIM members have told us that there are many reasons why they’ve joined and stayed AIM members for many years.

1. Affordable dues.

AIM dues are just $10.00 per member, per month. The benefits often include the member’s family as well. What a bargain!

2. No dues hike.

While some marketing organizations entice you with low introductory prices (and raise them later), AIM hasn’t. AIM's dues have been the same since the 1970’s.

3. Free benefits added.

Since 2006, AIM has added more benefits but still has not raised the dues.
AIM can literally say that these new benefits are “free” to AIM members.

We are probably the only association in America that can officially make the statement that we offer “free” benefits to our members. You don’t pay for the newly added benefits, we do!

4. Group, purchasing power.

AIM members have access to many educational programs, benefits, products, and services unavailable to them unless they’re part of a very large group. These offerings are promoted at greatly reduced rates or fees because of AIM’s relationships with national providers.

There is a principle in business called, "eliminate the middle-man" to reduce costs, but members soon find that they receive much better pricing from our providers by utilizing their AIM membership, than if they went directly to a provider.

5. AIM’s Newsletter.

It’s filled with articles written by professionals, designed to help you in your business and personal life. You’ll want to print and save many of the AIM Newsletter articles.

Some members have explained that they’ve been loyal AIM members for years just because of the Newsletter.

6. Practical education.

The Newsletter, educational courses, seminars, and other resources AIM  offers are designed to help you run your business efficiently and effectively.

You can improve yourself at the same time! Consider this: If AIM membership brought you just one money-saving/making idea each year, it would be worth the price of admission. So, if AIM brings more than one great idea each year you must agree that it’s worth it. It has been for many members, for years.

7. Real Professionals.

AIM uses the best professionals to teach you, provide services for you, and to assist you in your business.

8. AIM has “AIM Partners”.

The “AIM Partners” program was created to bring the best national providers of educational and business oriented services to the members. Their business is helping you with yours and they’re the best we can find.

The major goal with this program is to offer AIM members access to the best quality education, products and services at lower cost. Mission accomplished!

The Basic AIM Membership costs only $10 per month, and is packed with benefits that will easily justify the price over and over again every month.

Our optional packages will be available early, 2010, and can be viewed at aimusa.biz.
